Exterior House Painting, Northern Beaches & Eastern Suburbs
Weatherproof coastal facades prepared properly for intense sun and salt spray, with quality Dulux systems built to last.

Limitless Painting & Decorating delivers exterior house painting across Sydney’s Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs. We prepare renders, weatherboard, eaves, fascia and trims for salt air and strong sun, then finish with quality Dulux so the result lasts. Second-generation local painters since 1988, fully licensed and insured.
An exterior repaint is usually triggered by one of a few things: the existing paint is chalking, cracking or peeling, the colour is dated, or a sale or renovation calls for the house to look its best. Coastal exposure changes the job significantly — a render in Manly or a weatherboard home in Avalon faces salt air and harsh UV that an inland home doesn't, so the prep work matters more than the topcoat itself.
That prep includes washing down salt residue, treating cracks and priming bare timber before any paint goes on. We scope each exterior on-site rather than by photos, since access, height and substrate condition all affect both the approach and the time it takes.
The system we specify depends on the substrate. For rendered and masonry exteriors, we typically use the Dulux Acratex system rather than standard Dulux Weathershield — Acratex Green Render Sealer followed by Acrashield Elastomeric or Acrashield Advance, depending on the project. Dulux Weathershield remains the right system for weatherboards, timber cladding and sprayed timber fences, usually primed first with Dulux 1 Step Prep.

Tell us about your projectCommon questions
How often should you repaint a house exterior on the coast?
Salt air and strong sun wear exteriors faster than inland. As a rough guide, coastal homes need attention more often, and we’ll tell you honestly whether yours needs doing now or can wait, when we quote.
What’s the best exterior paint for salt air?
It depends on the substrate. We typically specify the Dulux Acratex system for rendered and masonry surfaces, and Dulux Weathershield for weatherboards, timber cladding and fences. We’ll confirm the right system for your surface and exposure as part of your quote.
Do I need scaffolding for a two-storey exterior?
Often, yes — it depends on the roofline and access. We assess this on-site and include any scaffolding or access equipment in your written quote, so there are no surprises once the job starts.
Can you match my existing exterior colour?
Yes, we can colour-match an existing scheme or help you choose a refresh. If you're unsure, our colour consultation can run alongside your exterior quote.
How much does it cost to paint the exterior of a house in Sydney?
Exterior cost depends on size, substrate, access and how much prep the surfaces need — a rendered single-storey and a two-storey weatherboard with scaffolding are very different jobs. We quote on-site after seeing the property, with a clear written breakdown, free and with no obligation.
